NOTE
This piece was composed for a recital on New Year's Day, 2001, the first
concert of the 21st century, and I put many thoughts and feelings into
it.
The piece itself is simple, using only chords, and I tried to bring out
the warm wooden sound of the marimba to its fullest.
I believe that people have the power to start with a strong wish for a dream or hope, and eventually take action and make it come true.
I would be happy if you could perform with a wish in your heart, no matter
how small.
